Minor update... my desktop computer, Kurohoshi, has suffered a critical hard drive failure, and not just any hard drive, but the C drive, which of course contained all of my scanned drawings, digital drawings, game saves, family photos (including our Alaska and Bahama cruise).  AND..... I never backed any of them up.  Dont say it, I know it's stupid that I didnt back them up, but I'm upset anyway.  Therefore it'll be a while before I get anything else scanned and uploaded.

After a long period of stagnancy, my artistic impulses are emerging once again.  I've resumed work on the novelized version of Aesghalde's story, trying to get back to the "type it now, fix it later" mindset so I can get something done without nit-picking it to pieces. The main reason I give for my recent drawing stint is that I have started watching anime and reading manga again.  Currently I'm watching Soltey Rei on the laptop, Nanoha StrikerS on the desktop, and just finished Fullmetal Alchemist in my DVD collection.  Reading Battle Angel Alita (or "Gunnm" for the hardcore fan) also inspires me to draw because the artist/writer of the man

Once again the year has come full circle.  The past two years have been busy, busy, busy.  Here's a brief recap: 2006 Jan: moved out of parents' house Feb: Rebekah moved to NC and we start dating July: I propose and Rebekah accepts.  Quit job at Staples after 4 years and start working at Honda dealership as "internet sales manager" Aug: rent apartment for Rebekah and I, buy wedding dress, buy her a 2008 Honda Fit.  Shortly afterward I'm laid off from Honda.  Life becomes 100 times more stressful.  Buy out the lease on the apartment and we move in with my parents, and put the Fit up for sale. Sep: Rebekah and I marry on 9/10.  I get a jo
